Colette Katterhagen Taylor

Colette Katterhagen Taylor B’83 is an accomplished board director and former corporate executive with over 30 years of leadership in the fintech and financial services industries. As CEO and Chair of Russell Investment Trust Company, she oversaw a $50 billion Washington State chartered trust bank, leading enterprise-wide regulatory compliance, risk management, cybersecurity and fiduciary product innovation.

She currently serves as an Independent Director for several public and private entities, including the Pacific Gas & Electric Customer Credit Trust, Southern California Edison Nuclear Decommissioning Trust, and Guardianship Services of Seattle Trust Company, where she chairs the Audit Committee. Colette’s board service spans both corporate and nonprofit sectors, with a strong focus on governance, oversight and mission-driven leadership.

Her nonprofit involvement includes prior service as Chair of Goodwill of the Olympics and Rainier Region and board director roles with Lighthouse Christian School, Pacific Lutheran University and MultiCare Health Foundation. She currently serves on the boards of Goodwill Industries International and the Western Washington University Foundation. Colette is also a Senior Fellow with the American Leadership Forum and a mentor for graduate and undergraduate students at the University of Washington.
A proud Bellarmine alumna, Colette is part of a family legacy of leadership and service—her mother, Anne Katterhagen, was the first female Chair of Bellarmine’s Board of Directors, serving from 1977 to 1978.
